Default Mesmer and DoA in normal mode

A little information on the character. I was a Mo/Me running Ether Nightmare and Cry of Pain. The character was a SS rank of 10 so that was maxing out Cry of Pain and then my LB rank is 7 so that was an extra 35% damage.

I would cast Ether Nightmare and then Cry of Pain. The CoP was dealing 135 armor ignoring damage and also an interrupting. Also in the party we were using a domination mesmer hero. For normal mode a mesmer is now a viable character.

lol... huntman... rofl. yeah, thats pretty much how it works, those pve only skills turned out to work pretty well in DoA, along with Hex Eater Vortex. I personally dont like DoA still, but if it works, it works i guess.

Even more... You can max up EN and COP damage by using Signet of Illusions, your next Spell (COP or EN) will use your Illusion attribute instead of sunspear or faction allegiance title points. Bye-bye faction grinding.

Why would you bother running a Mesmer when you can have a useful character /Me with a Cry of Pain that is just as good?

I mean, really. Like the OP says, Mo/Me.

My bad, didnt saw he was Mo/Me.
Why bother running mesmer? I'm sick of all those W+E+Mo+N builds, too typical and boring to invest my time.

Just for encouragement, An all mes team completed City Of Torq'ua in 47 minutes last week and has completed it in Hardmode in a little over 1:30
